Terms & Conditions
View Privacy PolicyAcceptance of plumbing services, estimates, work orders, or invoices constitutes agreement to the following Terms & Conditions.
Customer Authorization and Acceptance of Terms
All plumbing work performed by Spectrum Plumbing LLC must be authorized by the customer prior to the start of work.
By signing an estimate, work order, or invoice, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions outlined by Spectrum Plumbing LLC.
If a written or electronic signature is not obtained, authorization of service by scheduling work, approving an estimate verbally or electronically, or permitting work to proceed constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC reserves the right to decline service if authorization is not provided.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of plumbing service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Accepted methods of payment include cash, credit card, check, or electronic transfer.
After 30 days of non-payment, any unpaid balances may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law) plus any reasonable collection costs, including attorney's fees.
Non-Payment and Collections
Spectrum Plumbing LLC reserves the right to pursue all lawful remedies in the event of non-payment for services rendered.
If payment is not received within the agreed payment terms, Spectrum Plumbing LLC may take any or all of the following actions:
- Submit the unpaid balance to a third-party collections agency
- Pursue recovery through small claims court or other legal action
- File a construction lien against the property in accordance with Oregon law
The customer agrees to be responsible for any reasonable costs associated with the collection of unpaid balances, including but not limited to collection agency fees, court costs, filing fees, and attorney's fees where permitted by law.
Failure to make payment for services rendered may also result in the refusal of future service by Spectrum Plumbing LLC.
Estimates and Quotes
The pricing provided in estimates and quotes is an approximation based on the information available at the time the estimate is prepared. Final charges may vary due to unforeseen circumstances including concealed plumbing conditions, additional labor, materials, or required repairs discovered during the course of work.
Any significant changes to the original scope of work or pricing will be discussed with the customer prior to proceeding.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC reserves the right to issue written change orders when modifications to the original scope of work are necessary. Change orders will outline the revised work and associated costs and must be approved by the customer before additional work is performed.
Authorized Work
All work will be performed as described in the approved estimate or service agreement. Any work outside of the original scope will require customer approval and may require a revised estimate.
Concealed or Unknown Conditions
Plumbing systems are often located behind walls, underground, or in concealed areas. Spectrum Plumbing LLC is not responsible for pre-existing conditions that cannot reasonably be discovered during the initial inspection.
If concealed conditions are discovered that require additional work to safely complete the job, the customer will be notified and additional charges may apply.
Adequate and safe access to crawlspaces must be provided before plumbing work can begin. Spectrum Plumbing LLC reserves the right to decline entry into crawlspaces that present health or safety hazards, including but not limited to:
- Evidence of rodent infestation or rodent droppings
- Standing water or sewage contamination
- Mold or other environmental hazards
- Unsafe structural conditions
- Insufficient clearance or unsafe access points
In such cases, the crawlspace must be properly cleaned, remediated, or repaired by a qualified crawlspace or remediation contractor before Spectrum Plumbing LLC will proceed with plumbing work in that area.
Any delays resulting from unsafe crawlspace conditions are not the responsibility of Spectrum Plumbing LLC.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC also reserves the right to refuse or suspend service if conditions inside the home or on the property pose a health or safety risk to technicians, including but not limited to:
- The presence of hazardous substances or biohazards
- Evidence of illegal activity
- Unsafe environmental conditions such as severe mold contamination
- Threatening or unsafe behavior from occupants
- Any other condition that reasonably presents a danger to personnel
Any delays resulting from unsafe site conditions are not the responsibility of Spectrum Plumbing LLC.
Existing Plumbing System Condition
Plumbing systems, shutoff valves, supply lines, and piping components may deteriorate over time due to age, corrosion, mineral buildup, or prior installation conditions.
During the course of normal plumbing service, Spectrum Plumbing LLC may be required to shut off and restore water service or manipulate existing valves, fittings, and connections. In some cases, these existing components may fail due to their age or condition.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC is not responsible for failure of existing plumbing components including but not limited to shutoff valves, supply lines, fittings, or piping that fail due to age, corrosion, or deterioration during normal service procedures.
If such components fail during service, additional repairs or replacement may be required and will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
Drain Cleaning Disclaimer
Drain cleaning services are intended to remove an existing blockage at the time of service. Due to the unknown condition of drain lines, drain cleaning services are not guaranteed and do not carry a warranty.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC cannot guarantee that drains will remain clear after service. Recurring stoppages may occur due to underlying conditions including but not limited to:
- Pipe damage or deterioration
- Root intrusion
- Grease buildup
- Foreign objects in the line
- Improper pipe slope or installation
- Structural defects in the drain system
If recurring blockages occur, additional diagnostic services such as video camera inspection or pipe repair may be recommended.
Spectrum Plumbing LLC is not responsible for future drain stoppages resulting from the condition of the existing plumbing system.

Estimates provided by Spectrum Plumbing LLC are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

Deposit Requirement
For certain projects, a deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total estimated project cost may be required upon acceptance of the estimate and prior to scheduling or beginning work.
The deposit will be applied toward the total project balance. Work will not be scheduled or materials ordered until the required deposit has been received.
